Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging SAT Prep Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in standardized test preparation and a genuine desire to help students reach their academic goals. You will be responsible for teaching SAT test-taking strategies, reviewing key content areas, and helping students improve their confidence and scores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective and engaging SAT instruction in Math, Evidence-Based Reading, and Writing.

  • Develop and adapt lesson plans based on student needs and progress.

  • Provide practice exams, homework, and diagnostic feedback.

  • Track and assess student performance, providing individualized support as needed.

  • Create a supportive, motivating, and respectful classroom environment.

  • Communicate regularly with students and/or parents on progress and areas for improvement.

  • Stay current with changes to the SAT format, content, and best practices.

  • Attend team meetings, trainings, or professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Education, English, Math, or related field preferred.

  • Prior experience teaching or tutoring SAT prep (minimum 1 year preferred).

  • Strong standardized test scores (top percentile SAT score or equivalent).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate high school students.

  • Reliable, organized, and punctual.

  • Comfortable teaching in-person, online, or hybrid formats (depending on role).
