Job Description:

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and passionate Anime & Cartoon Art Instructor to lead a week-long summer program for youth ages 8–15. The instructor will guide students through the basics of anime and cartoon drawing, character design, storytelling, and animation concepts in a fun and supportive environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons focused on anime and cartoon art.

• Teach drawing techniques, expressions, character design, and basic storytelling.

• Encourage creativity and artistic exploration through hands-on projects.

• Provide individualized feedback and support to students of varying skill levels.

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

• Set up and clean up materials before and after each session.

Qualifications:

• Experience in anime/cartoon illustration, visual storytelling, or animation.

• Prior experience working with children or youth (teaching or camp setting preferred).

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Enthusiastic, patient, and able to inspire creativity.
