Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Dermatology Physician Assistant
AGC Consulting Group is helping one of our clients seek a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — Full Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Apopka, Florida
Our client is a private-practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered medical dermatology care in Central Florida.
We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
(Either a Physician Associate (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN))
to join our clinical team and expand our capacity in both clinic and skilled
nursing facility settings.
Role Summary
The Dermatology APP will manage a diverse patient panel (both in the
office and SNF setting), diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of
dermatological conditions under the guidance and supervision of the
board-certified doctor.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history
review and targeted dermatological examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic dermatological conditions.
- Provide clinical care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, requiring consistent local travel.
- Perform common dermatological procedures, including but not limited to: punch and shave biopsies, & cryotherapy
- Develop and communicate personalized treatment protocols, preventative care, and patient education plans.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate effectively with the supervising physician and clinical support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant/ Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted PA or APRN license in the state of Florida.
- Certification: Current national certification as a PA or APRN.
Experience: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Minimum of one (1) year of post-graduate experience as an APP working in a dermatology office.
- Successful completion of an Dermatology training program, online or in-person.
- Commitment: Demonstrated interest in and dedication to specializing in medical dermatology.
Compensation & Benefits
Theo Medical Dermatology offers a highly competitive salary and

- Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
